Revolution Forever Flawless Decadent palette: swatches & closeup

Hello hello!

Today I’m sharing a stunning palette with you. I ordered this a while ago on the Revolution website and I thought it looked so beautiful, I just couldn’t wait to start using it!

Note: My skin is very pale, I mostly use the lightest shades of foundations, concealers, … on my face. Sharing this might make it easier for you to estimate how shades would look on your skin, since some of them might be rather light but still show up on my skin tone.

These pictures are not edited and are taken in natural lighting.

The packaging and look of the palette.
A look inside the palette

The packaging is in metal and has a marble look to it. On the inside it has a big mirror which I find quite handy, especially if I’m taking a palette with me somewhere. That’s a plus for me!

I made this picture so you would have a good overview of what shades look like inside. As you can see, this palette includes some pinks, a mix of shimmers and mattes, some browns, some nudes and a lovely bright orange colour. Personally, I am a big fan of orange shades, maybe you already know that if you’ve read some of my other blogposts. I always tend to go for shades like these ones, because to me they are neutral and could fit with any outfit I’m wearing. When I was swatching sundown, I just felt the urge to use it on my eyelids immediately. I’m such a sucker for that shade.

I think the shimmer shades are also really pretty, and I love that there is a mixture of light and dark shades. Now, let’s take a look at the swatches!

swatches of row 1
sienna – sundown – gleam – grandeur – luxe – affluent
swatches of row 2
hedonic – majesty – indulge – lavish – glimmer – splendid
swatches of row 3
pearls – fortuity – scorched – plush – sahara – karma

If you would be interested, I used this palette in a first impressions video that I uploaded this week on my channel. It includes me trying to do a cut crease. *spoiler alert* It didn’t go as planned but I think it turned out alright for a first try!

Have you tried this palette before?

Love, Axelle
