Nudes palette: swatches & closeup (I heart Revolution)

Happy Wednesday to you!

Today I’m sharing the eyeshadow palette I use every single day. It is possibly my most favourite palette ever (although I’m sharing another beauty tomorrow). This palette is one I think everybody will get on with. It includes lovely, mostly warm shades that are extremely wearable. It’s cruelty-free and vegan, which I personally think is amazing. The palette includes 18 shades: 5 shimmers and 13 mattes. There are warm browns, a surprising purple, soft nude pinks and an exciting bright pink shade. Let’s take a look at it in depth!

Note: My skin is very pale, I mostly use the lightest shades of foundations, concealers, … on my face. Sharing this might make it easier for you to estimate how shades would look on your skin, since some of them are pale but still show up on my skin tone.

These pictures are not edited and are taken in natural lighting.

The nudes palette packaging

This palette has such a lovely packaging that makes me hungry every single time I see it. The palette actually smells so good, I wish I could include scents in this blogpost. It is one of the traits of the chocolate palettes, they all smell delicious.

My palette doesn’t look this perfect anymore, I took this picture when I first got it. I’ve been using it every single day for a while now and I still haven’t hit pan on any of the shades. My favourite shades to use in the crease of my eye are ‘secret’, ‘in the buff’ or ‘after dark’. You might not know this about me, but I am always a fan of shades that are orange (more than pink shades), so these warm colours are totally up my street. The pink shade in the middle is the only one I’m a little bit afraid of, because I fear I’ll look unwell when I use it on my eyes. If you can only purchase one eyeshadow palette, I would highly recommend looking into this one!

What are your thoughts on this palette? Which one is your favourite chocolate palette from Revolution?

Love, Axelle
