Strawberry cheesecake palette: closeup & swatches

Hello!

As promised, I am going to be more active on my blog and therefore I decided to start a new series about I heart revolution chocolate palettes. I own 13 of them so far (I didn’t realize I was addicted until I started counting) and I want to share them with you, including swatches and a closeup of the palette. Personally I like blogposts like this because I can just skip through them and look at the pictures. I feel like it’s hard sometimes to find swatches of certain palettes so I decided to make my own pictures and hopefully they are helpful to you as well!

Note: My skin is very pale, I mostly use the lightest shades of foundations, concealers, … on my face. Sharing this might make it easier for you to estimate how shades would look on your skin, since some of them are pale but still show up on my skin tone.

These pictures are not edited and are taken in natural lighting.

The Strawberry Cheesecake palette

This palette has a gorgeous and sweet pink colour. This already gives an idea of the colours that are used inside since a lot of them are a shade of pink!

Second row:
earth – pinch – fraise – strawberry – syrup – base
Third row:

Personally I still have to experiment with pink shades because I’m mostly drawn to warm and orange-toned shades and I’m still a little bit insecure about using pink on my eyes. I do think the shades are very wearable and buildable (especially the mattes). There’s also a good mix of shimmers and mattes to create a beautiful look! This palette was part of the chocolate vault that I got for Christmas.

What do you think of this palette? Are you a fan of pink eyeshadows?

Love, Axelle

Take a look at the other I heart Revolution palettes that I wrote about. See you there!
